This piece was made while I was working with my grandpa. At the time I was drawing heavily from Georgia O'keeffe and was inspired by her piece "Rams Head with Hollyhock". I started looking into different types of ram skulls, and came across the catalina ram. I sculpted this durring sessions where my grandpa and I worked on our own pieces in eachothers company. When I was young my grandpa taught me how to make pottery. In his last year of life I had the honnor of not only working with him but teaching him a few new techniques I had learned.
